Cafeworld is a shared map of cafes, built from moments people post. By using it you agree to these terms. They are meant to be readable, not to trick you.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure - what happens under it is your responsibility. You need to be at least 13 to use Cafeworld.

Your content stays yours

The photos and words you post belong to you. By posting, you give Cafeworld permission to store and display them in the app - on the cafe's wall, in your board, in the explore feed and in previews. You can delete a moment whenever you like, and that permission ends with it.

Only post what's yours to post

Post your own photos. Do not post someone else's work, and be considerate about photographing other people - if a person is identifiable, get their okay first.

The rules

• No harassment, hate, threats, or targeting individuals.
• No sexual, graphic or illegal content.
• No spam, scams, or fake engagement.
• No impersonating other people or businesses.
• Do not upload other people's photos as your own moments.
• Respect the cafes themselves - their staff, their space, their rules.

Moderation

You can report a moment from the app. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. We try to be fair about it.

Cafe information

Cafe names and locations come largely from OpenStreetMap, used under the Open Database License. Details like opening hours can be wrong or out of date - check before you travel.

No guarantees

Cafeworld is provided as-is. It is a small, independently built product, so things may break, change, or go offline. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it.

Changes

These terms may change as Cafeworld grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
